Attorney Russell P. Schwartz
Attorney Russell P. Schwartz received his B.A. in 1985, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his J.D. in 1988 from Western New England University School of Law. His practice concentrates in the area of Domestic Relations and Family Law.
Attorney Schwartz lectures for the Worcester County Bar Association and for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education group and upon request has appeared as a guest speaker on WTAG and WCRN radio talk shows as well as New England Cable Network. He is also a contributor to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly regarding family law issues.
Attorney Schwartz has been an active member in the legal community. He has served as a panelist for the Family Law Trial Advocacy Program, participated in Worcester County Volunteer Lawyer’s Association, the Massachusetts Justice Project, served on the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Committee and currently serves on the Worcester County Probate Court Committee, and founded the Worcester County Bar Association Conciliation Program. Attorney Schwartz is a Certified Conciliator, Certified Mediator as well as a court-approved special master and currently accepts court appointments to conduct hearings and make findings for the court on family related issues.
Attorney Donna L. Riani
Attorney Donna L. Riani has a wealth of experience in the legal field, having worked a number of years as both an attorney and as a paralegal. She earned her certificate in paralegal studies in 1992 and her B.L.S. the following year, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Assumption College. In 2004 she graduated from Western New England University School of Law, earning her J.D. Attorney Riani concentrates in Domestic Relations Law. Areas of her practice include divorce, child custody, modifications, and contempts.
Attorney Riani is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association where she serves on the Probate and Family Law Committee. She is a Certified Conciliator and has been appointed by the Probate and Family Court through the Attorney Representing Children Program.
Attorney Nicholas J. Plante
Attorney Nicholas J. Plante received his B.A. from Worcester State University in 2002 and his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, Attorney Plante was the recipient of the first year law student “Best Oralist” award. Attorney Plante also served as a member of the National Environmental Moot Court Competition, where he was twice awarded the “Best Oralist” award. Attorney Plante practices in the area of divorce, child custody, modifications, contempts, and estate probate matters.
Attorney Plante has also appeared in the District Court and Superior Court in the prosecution and defense of restraining orders. Attorney Plante also handles appellate matters and appears before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Additionally, Attorney Plante has been appointed by the Justices of the Probate and Family Court to serve as a Guardian ad Litem, Discovery Master, Trustee, and as an Attorney for minor children.
Attorney Plante is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Worcester County Bar Association, where he serves on the Probate and Family Law Committee and the Trial Skills Committee.
Attorney Steven J. Bolivar
Attorney Steven J. Bolivar received his J.D. from Southern New England School of Law in 1993 and his B.S. from American International College in 1983. He also earned a Masters degree in Education from Worcester State University in 1988. Attorney Bolivar maintains a successful and diverse legal practice and his career reflects his dedication to public service. In the past he has worked for the Department of Social Services, Elder Home Care and Cooperative Human Services. Currently, his practice includes regularly appearing before the Probate Court for divorce, modifications, paternity, and guardianship proceedings, as well as working within the Juvenile Court accepting appointments for CHINS, delinquency, youthful offender, and care and protection appointments. In addition, he accepts Guardian ad. Litem appointments for both the Probate and Juvenile Courts.
Attorney Caitlyn E. Churchill
Attorney Caitlyn E. Churchill received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine in 2011 and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Attorney Churchill gained experience through multiple internships in a wide array of fields including personal injury law, housing law, real estate law, wills and estate planning and advanced legal research. Prior to, and upon becoming admitted to the bar in November 2014, Attorney Churchill obtained experience in the area of Domestic Relations and Family Law by working as a paralegal at the Law Office of Russell P. Schwartz, Esquire. Attorney Churchill concentrates in the areas of Domestic Relations and Family Law.
